PM2.5 Forecast for Beijing – Friday, May 16, 2014

We're expecting some good air quality once again on Friday.  We should see decreasing pollution in the morning, probably bringing us to Good or Moderate air quality between about 6AM and 10AM.  After a few hours at that level, we should see the pollution start to accumulate again by mid-afternoon.

SATURDAY, May 17:  Saturday should take us back to average air quality in Beijing, likely at Unhealthy AQI readings for most of the day.  There is some chance that Friday's good air will stay around for a while on Saturday morning, but that seems unlikely at this point.

SUNDAY, May 18:  We should have another day of about average air quality on Sunday, with AQI readings at Unhealthy for most of the day.

MONDAY, May 19:  Monday should be another day of about average air quality for Beijing, but we could see the skies start to clear late in the evening in advance of Tuesday's clearing skies.
