PM2.5 Forecast for Beijing – Saturday, April 5, 2014

Saturday should start off with Good or Moderate air quality, and we should stay in that range through the morning and possibly into the afternoon.  But we should see the PM2.5 levels pick up in the afternoon and evening, so we will most likely end up at Unhealthy before the day is over.

EXTENDED FORECAST

SUNDAY, April 6:  We’re looking for poor air quality in the morning, then somewhat reduced pollution in the afternoon and early evening.  We’re likely to be in the Very Unhealthy to Unhealthy range throughout the day, but we could see lower readings than that in the afternoon if we’re lucky.

MONDAY, April 7:  Monday is likely to be the worst day of the 3-day weekend.  We expect to see poor air quality again on Monday with the AQI at Unhealthy or higher.

TUESDAY, April 8: Tuesday is likely a repeat of Monday with poor air quality and AQI readings at Unhealthy or higher.
